Defining the ideal online banking - Grupo Santander

Openbank is part of the Grupo Santander. It was the very first online bank on Spain and was the first Spanish bank to start operating online.

The Head of Global Direct Banking of Grupo Santander was looking for a new global positioning strategy applicable to all the countries in which they are present. That implied the development of a wide European study in order to analyze the best practices of specific steps in the Customer Experience of the main agents in online banking (ING Direct etc.) in Spain, Italy, the UK and Germany.

2009 Gesture research

All along 2009, the IUP (international Usability Partners) carried out a coordinated research about gestural interfaces in each of our home countries, that is: Germany, Italy, China, U.S., Chile, Finland, Swizerland, U.K., France, Belgium, India and Spain.

Recently, our partners at Humancentric and UIDpresented the "2009 IUP Gesture Research Project" at the Munich International UPA conference.
